Another 'good buy'

I was again lucky on Ebay when this lot came up a couple of weeks ago.

I paid the small sum of £3.19 which included £1.20 in postage.

When I think about it (and I do sometimes think!!) this is cheaper than when I used to buy them brand new in the local shops as a kid!!!  Is this the best bargain of the 'season' do you think?

I love those kind of shuttles, I bought one on e-bay and loved it, then bought another and found it was an impostor, fake a ruse and it did not hold up to the standard of the original, my heart was broken :(

That is a great bargain! I keep looking for them... not very hard, I guess. I have one that has been well loved, but some day I hope to find a deal like yours!

Love the Milwards - so lightweight, but hold a decent amount of thread! I wish they were still made. Congrats on your excellent buy!

I was lucky to receive one of these when inheriting someone's entire tatting stash. I have left it on the card, not sure if I should use it. Are you going to use these, or just keep them as part of your collection?

Well they were all I could buy when I started tatting so I am very at home with them. I'll probably put them in my collection (which is currently strewn around the house!). I'd rather use the Aero bobbin shuttles at the moment.

Good Job! I think a great deal. I have one - not a brand new one on a card -- maybe someday .... sigh
